Spiritual Fast Begins
The retreat begins long before we meet at Claggett's. It starts with us laying aside the things of this world to commune with our Lord and Saviour. In addition to your private time, we as a group fast together, pray together, study together, and finally on January 24, 2024, we come together to draw close to Him corporately.
Daniel 9:3-21 - And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes.
This is a journey as we prepare for the retreat. We will seek Him privately for those intimate things he wants to share with just with us alone and corporately as soldiers to fight the good fight. To encourage each other, lift each other up, to pull down the strongholds in our lives.
Corporate Fast
January 15, 2025 - January 24, 2025 - 10-day
Joel 1:14 - Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders [and] all the inhabitants of the land [into] the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD,
Our 10-day Corporate Fast starts on January 14, 2024, we are asking you to fast as Daniel fasted for at least 10 days, using the Daniel Fast (a guideline will be sent which outlines suggested fruits, vegetables, fibers, nuts, and healthy items to eat, as well as which ones to restrain from eating). This will help with stocking your shelves in preparation. Of course, we are in different places in our journey and should seek the Lord in prayer as to whether The Daniel fast would be appropriate for you. If for health reasons you cannot participate in the Daniel Fast, please fast as led by the Lord (but do fast as we desire to be on one accord as we prepare for the retreat. Fast according to the Daniel Fast or as God leads you. For some of you, the Daniel Fast is not a sacrifice. But do what is a sacrifice for you. What can you put down to spend more time with God? Fast from TV, phone chatting, computer surfing, social media, or whatever takes your focus from God. Please email us to discuss fasting if you are uncertain or have questions. Let us go to those deeper levels of spiritual intimacy and do the extended fast starting January 3, 2023.
For going deeper, join us to consecrate starting January 3, 2024.

Let us come together to pray, to cry out, and to seek Him. Make this sacrifice early in your morning to come before Him together in corporate prayer.
Acts 4:31 And when they prayed the place where they had gathered together was shaken and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.
Corporate Book Study
Proverbs 4:6-7 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
We will be studying together for understanding and spiritual growth. We want to be wise in the ways of our adversary to defeat him, we want an understanding of our weapons and protection. We want victory in our lives and that of our families. Let us seek wisdom and understanding together. Let the Holy Spirit bring us new revelation.
